April / May 2026:

Now I don’t have to cover the car every time I think it’s going to rain !   Yes I’ve moved it to the shop.

And yes it’s on a hoist… And yes we checked out the underside of the car.  It’s in amazing condition. Looks better than the top of the car.  For it’s many many years there is little to no rust.  Everything is solid. The tires however are showing there age with some dry cracking and one of the rear shocks is leaking..  That’s it for the underside..  Other needs are an oil change and the serpentine belt changed, there’s a new one in the trunk. There’s other work to be done while here inside..  The new top has arrived and that work will be very soon. I will remove the seats to make that easier.  Also  I will work on the side window seals and the workings inside the doors. Get those windows going up and down better. All this will make the car “weather proof” once again.  And while I have this nice place to work without the seats in the way..I’ll tackle removing the remote start and clean up the wiring.
